Liberty Village Outlet Mall Redevelopment Plan Phase 1

Phase 1 consists of the 11 acre Mall site and a portion of the 12 acre parking lot into 111 townhomes. Seven of the townhomes will be priced in accordance with NJ affordability guidelines. Additionally, 12 apartments for Disabled Veterans and their families also to be priced in accordance with affordability guidelines. Prior to the installation of all new site work, historic contamination left by Foran Forge, which operated from the mid 1800s to the mid 1900s, will be remediated to residential standards. The only remaining building from the forge will be preserved for its historic significance. To serve the community, a public park, storm water detention basin, and a commercial building (to be used at the boroughs discretion) will be constructed and donated to the borough.
